I’ve been scammed by this company. They offer zero help to customers that are in legitimate need of assistance. The bmw i3 is a terrible car and a single flat tire can make the entire car useless. They have held me hostage and refuse to offer any kind of assistance for someone that has been going through a legitimate hard time. I was bounced around from 3 different salesman who said they would be able to help me, but they all came back with the same sleezy sales tactic to try to oversell me once again. I do not recommend. Buyer beware.
Little sketchy at first but they made up for it and knocked the buying experience out of the park. They were great to deal with.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new 540i!! Crown is a wonderful dealership experience, professional, kind and friendly! I always feel welcome there and the service department and my advisor, Chris, are awesome. This is my 3rd BMW that I have purchased at Crown and would not think of going anywhere else.
Furthermore, I found later that they falsely mispresented the repairs to the damages they caused as goodwill to BMW NA behind my back.
This is why they do not write about their responsibility in work orders while you are under pressure to sign to get repairs done for their damages.
They did two negligent repairs on my car, caused damages while working on an AC evaporator replacement while under factory BMW warranty (put prying marks on my center console, damaged driver seat, caused new damages (scratched the bumper) when I had to return to have their first damages fixed, misinstalled parts (dashboard tabs sticking out, driver seat harness) and soiled the car's entryway on my BMW that I ordered from BMW a couple years ago.
They have tried to evade responsibility. Even when I found the console damaged forcing them to recognize it immediately they would later not put their responsibility in writting in the work order to repair it. When i had to return to have all the damages repaired, they botched the seat repair, I was upset about it, naturally focused on it and I failed to notice that they also scratched my front bumper at a hard to spot location not only underside but partly on the face of it. This had to be the result of their technician driving into a tool left on their shop floor close enough to the front of the car that he missed seeing when manoeuvering the car in the shop. There is second and different direction to the scratches when that tech had to manually dislodge whatever tool from under the bumper instead of driving backwards which would have caused similar direction of scratches. It is not a curb scratch. When they did damages they will not tell me. If you notice it they will repair it, when i did not, they tried to evade responsibility. It is especially dishonest because I was already busy contending with them about their bad seat repair at pickup time for 20 minutes, i only took a minute to look at the car's body. Getting home I put the car under its cover for days in my garage as it is not my daily car until i washed it and discovered the scratches when i squatted down. I immediately checked the dated proof pictures that i took the day I left my car for service and I found that the bumper was intact on the picture before they worked on the car.I went straight to Crown with the picture and the general manager promised me they would fix it and ask me to wait for other parts for the seat to arrive. When other parts arrived a month later they started denying responsibility pretexting that I did not notice it a pickup time. Sure if they had not botched my driver seat, replaced my center console also damaged by them and re-installed my dashboard too then i could have focused more on the body of the car. Instead i spend 20 minutes with them looking at the badly repaired seat and interior parts and only a minute on the body. And they looked at the car far less than I did. Later, my neighbor could not immediately find the scratches when i asked him to look anywhere on my car for scratches, circling around the car several times he took a long time to find them. Unlike me, He was not under the stress of having to look and check all the other repairs from previous dealership damages.
No integrity, dishonesty, careless work, incompetent dealership.
Stay away from them. Do not go there. Go to another dealership even if you have to drive further, it can spare you a lot of troubles.
Sloppy service, almost incompetent at times. their customer interface team is all about getting your money but it is a different story with what actually goes on in the shop. I learned to be weary of them. Their techs are careless, they cut corners and never have to account directly to the customer for their often lousy work. Repeated issues have taught me not to trust this place. You should not have to feel like you are taking a gamble whenever you have to bring your car for service or repair. People that don't have knowledge on cars are at their mercy. But I know enough to inspect their work and will not return there.
Worst experience ever from a dealership service department and general manager from Crown BMW. Do not bring your car there unless you want to take a risk with negligent repairs and damages to your car.
