This is a well known place for lunch and or dinner in Greensboro. The food is well prepared and is heart health!!!!! Always the best place I love to go!!! If you have not tried please treat yourself!!!!
I am crazy about Ghassan's and have been for decades. their chicken humus pita and steak and cheese are my go-to meals. The food is consistently better than the big chains and the service gets you in and out fast. (there is often a long line and the lunch rush but it moves fast.) This location has just remodeled the dining area with nice comfortable seating. I like the idea of eating local and this is one place that make that easy. $7 to $9 gets you in and out, well fed and happy.
I prefer Family restaurants over chains any day of the week! Ghassan's is family owned & local. The steak and cheese sub and the turkey sub are my faves!! Friendly staff and good food-all around great!
I tried several of their sides (my friend and I made sure to get different ones), and their beef and chicken kabobs. Everything was tasty! Wasn't very busy when I went, I think it was around 9pm on a Sunday. The staff were warm and friendly :)
Great steak and cheese sub. Fries are hot and crispy. Salad is tasty: basically just lettuce, tiny tomato pieces, feta cheese and an oil and vinegar type of dressing. Kabobs with pita bread are good too. Not the healthiest place to eat but good tasting food.
