Would have given a 0 but had to pick 1 to display a review. Best Buy really misleads with their pricing. Picked out a drone for my son for Christmas, label over drone was $299. It rang up $999.99. Had store manager brought over to discuss. He said "that was just for the camera, do you expect to get a drone too for that price"? I said that's the tag you have over the display and all the other drones have the prices on the shelves. HE BLAMED IT ALL ON THE CUSTOMERS. Said you know how customers move the tags and labels around. Wow, way to go manager. It was kinda funny how that tag display had 2 slots and only had the camera tag in it. There was no price label for this drone. He wouldn't knock off any of the price for misleading. After leaving I checked online price from best buy and it was $200 less, he didn't even offer that. Lost another customer to Amazon. I'll order from Amazon even if it costs more.
Customer service was horrible. I had to literally chase down hell to buy an item and it took 3 different employees to find someone that could find someone to unlock the glass so that I could purchase a tablet. This place needs to better train their workers to or either hire more workers during the holidays to help customers. It wasn’t even that many customers in the store this morning on top of that. I will never go back here again!
He should have seen me and approached me as I was looking at computers. I am 71 years old and have dealt with computers since 1968 (I did hardware evaluations for the US Army in 1969-1970 and have experience with all computers), but perhaps he thought I was a old geezer who didn't know what I was doing!
Please share with staff the importance of customer service displayed in vocal inflection, FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, and body language. I politely said excuse me to a group of 3 sales associates who were conversing to ask if a phone case was in stock for my new phone. I was greeted with a not so friendly face/tone from one, when noticed I asked her name(Adrian) which I'm sure is why the gentleman(Matt) addressed my question in a more than accommodating tone at this point. I understand some things are important to finish discussing but if it can be addressed later, do so. I assume it wasn't as important as Adrian's face conveyed due to 3rd employee walking away from my initial pardon. However I do thank Matt for being up front about not having moto force z2 phone case and for offering alternative.
I a m very satisfied with the buying experience after only 3 days after buying a laptop computer. The only issue was the in-attention of the salesmen. I had to hunt one down who was simply talking to a colleague.
I came in the store to return an item. The woman at the customer service desk lied and told me that since I used a $5 certificate for part of the payment, the $5 reward would be applied back to my account within a couple of days. After a few days I called the rewards customer service department and they were so rude. I even asked for the representatives supervisor and he told me if I wanted to talk to someone else, I had to call back. I explained that I am the customer and he can not refuse a supervisor request. He then cold transferred me to the Geek Squad department. I ended up being on the phone for 45 minutes and accomplished nothing all due to the lie of the employee at the customer service desk. Horrible!!
