Recent Experience: I came to BHOJ last night (12/22/17), a Thursday, which is ladies night. Women get in free before 10:00 pm. The advertised drinks on the table where $9 . My friend and I chose the "Maui Punch"... But get this: I paid $9 for a mixed drink (not a shot of Hennessy) that barely had any alcohol in it.
Conclusion: BHOJ is a great place to visit. Great ambiance, amazing music, dance, lounge aaaand sad drinks.
Um. No. Either someone's being hella cheap, or the bartender needs to refresh his skills.
Our waitress came over and I let her know the drinks were really weak (Think Tropicana juice).
The ambience was wonderful. The outdoor entertainment had great comedians, indoor live music with singers was absolutely wonderful as well as the d.j. later.
The Featured Highlights Awards is a waste of money and time. How do you have an area for the nominees but there's no where to sit. I drove 6 hours to be here... My daughter was nominated but we had to stand the entire time. It should be more organized. Unnecessary talking, if you have 34 categories and it starts at 3pm by 4pm the awards should have been started...NEVER AGAIN!
I expected jazz but settled for hip hop. It was a lively atmosphere and the drinks were good.
Cons: The venue needs renovating (ceiling and some flooring). In the bathroom, there are curtains for each stall (I prefer the privacy of a door to my occupied toilet). You can't order sides - you have to order a whole plate of food.
I only had an issue with the meal, it was really tasty; however, when I asked for 3 sides instead of two, the waitress said she could not do that, so I asked for 3 sides no meat, she said it's still the same price. She could have charged an additional $2 or $3 for the extra side; it wasn't like an abundance of guess wear ordering. Plus the portions were small.

Pros: There's usually live music or a DJ right in front of the dance floor. The low light setting creates the perfect atmosphere for dancing. The vibe is grown and sexy but you'll find all ages here. They serve hot food too. There is plenty of seating but if you come around 12 on a busy night, you may have to stand. There's a VIP section with a great view of the performance.
I've been here at least five times. It's one of my favorite places to go especially for a Girls' Night Out
Her reply: *laughs* "It's a girly drink, that's how they're suppose to be. If you take it the the bartender he's just going to look at you."
