I have been going to Preferred Pain Managment in Greensboro for 4 months. I have had nothing but great experiences! Dr. Adams and his staff have always been welcoming. The receptionist always remember my name, the nurse that takes my bp is always so careerful and the tech who assists Dr Adams with my injection is wonderful. You can tell everyone in the office work well together, there is a great flow. I'm so grateful to Dr. Adams for recommending the injection I get in my spine. After being in pain with my back for years I finally found someone who would help. I will continue to go to PPM Greensboro for all my back and knee issues. ❤

Doctors and nurses were great, very professional on the other hand...the entry level office workers were RUDE, calling to reschedule or cancel was like calling out of work!!. Then to be charged 200 dollars for canceled appointments even though you call...your still considered a no show!!. With the insurance payment they received my ongoing treatment would have greatly surpassed their $200 fine..I wonder if the Doctors know the office treat paying patients with such disregard.

I was a patient of doctor Adam’s for over two years. I was accused of having other drugs in my system twice. Keep in mind my regular doctor test me the same time he does. My regular doctor has never found anything illegal in my system and they use the same lab. My primary doctor has been my doctor for at least 5 years and every visit he gives me a urine test. My regular doctor writes me vyvance for ADHD. The first time he accused me he said you have amphetamines in your system. I said duh I take vyvance you should know that because all of my doctors are connected . I told him it’s right there in the records everything I take. that was the first strike. Second one was about a month ago. He accuse me of have Fentanyl in my system. I did not even know what Fentanyl was. I had to look it up on the internet he kept insisting that I did. I looked at him and told him he was a liar. I told him I said I’m not no drug attic. I am tired of you accusing me of having other drugs in my system. This is not the only reason why I dropped him as my pain doctor. He use my pain meds as leverage against me. Even after I was diagnosed with SLE he still insisted on giving me injections in my back. I told him I did not want them and they were not doing me any good. When I told him about the diagnosis it’s like he didn’t care. Like I was lying or something. He told me if I did not take the injections he would not fill my pain meds. Even after my diagnosis he still insisted on giving me injections. One day he gave me the injections and he missed and caused a Hemagoma on my spine. It’s like he wanted me to feel pain and see me suffer. Each time I receive the injections I swelled up even more . Even after my rheumatologist told him not to give me any more injections he still persisted to give them to me. At the time I didn’t think about it but I had received a shot of kenalog. Come to find out that it has Fentanyl in it I spoke to one of my regular doctors nurses and she told me. I said all of this to say that I was definitely being patient profile by Dr. Adams. I felt all because I was a young Native American that he just assumed I was just another drug attic. I have my drug test from my primary doctor to prove he was accusing me of being something I am not. You can not rely on sististic’s when it comes to judging or labeling people. There are good and bad people in all races. We are all individuals who have the same choices in life. It is up to the individual to make the right choice in life. Needless to say I found me another doctor after I fired doctor Adam’s. I just wonder how many other people he has done this to and they just stood there and took it. In conclusion I filed a complaint with the office and the medical board. Nobody will ever label me and make me feel less than. I am somebody and I deserve to be treated as such.

The Dr doesn't seem to be listening to me. I feel like he thinks I don't know what I'm talking about. No I'm no RN or CMA, but I did go to school for icd and cpt coding and medical terminology. Plus I know my pain and what helps. I mean I've been dealing with this for 5-6 years.

This place is an extremely poor place for your physician to refer you for anything that has to do with your health care.

Worst patient care ever. I hope you never have to experience having to spend a single second with any of these fake "care takers". Staff sit behind the windows and make fun of the patients who sit in the waiting room. The "doctor" who I saw was rude, condescending, and was absolutely clueless to anyone experiencing any degree of pain. He absolutely doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone he sees.

Please try another pain management association, and don't darken the door here.!!!!!!!!!
