We were so surprised at the doctor's lack of professionalism. We are new to Greensboro and he went to Dr S for a full work up. And together they formed a treatment plan. After calling in for a refill for my husband, we were informed of a dosage change out of the blue. My husband has been on the same medication and dosage for 5+ years. Although the doctor did not see or speak to my husband since that first appointment she changed his dosage. He is an ER nurse working 3rd shift and was in the middle of a five day rotation. The office was told this. Then they were informed by my husband it would not be a good time to start changing his medication dosage even dangerous. We were told he could muddle through. Yes....muddle through until his next appointment a week away. Again I will state he never saw or spoke to the doctor. I asked her medical assistant for the reasoning. And received no decent answer. We are disgusted and have since found a very decent doctor Dr. Elizabeth Dewy. She actually listens to her patients. And the wait isn't ridiculous either.

This place goes through staff like no office I have ever seen. The test they give patients are an absolute joke, They rarely give you a heads up on an appt, and then try to charge missed appt fees. They require more then what's necessary for exams ( Insurance claim questionable) I have been with them since they started, and have always paid my bill in full until of recent. Unfortunatly I had a very small outstanding bill, and was refused to be seen until it was paid in full. As I was turned away from my appt, they said they would not charge me a cancellation fee since I showed up. I have always thought my relationship with practice was okay, but it was proven that over a $100.00 my relationship meant ZERO. I am not an abuser of meds, and was a legitimate patient. I reached out multiple times, with no response. My wife is in the medical field, and knows a lot of doctors. She chose to take my daughter to a much more qualified, and legitimate practice. This place is a disapointment, and I would not Recommend!

I see Dr Stevenson and I had a good experience. She listens to your concerns and asks approapriate questions regarding what is going on. They gave me tests that helped show what's going on. The DNA test to see which medication you can tolerate is worth doing. The only downside is the wait time for an appointment. That could be due to many patients coming here for help. They give you drug tests, surveys and a computer test. The doctor goes over everything really well. I've been doing so much better since coming here. I just wished appointments could be much sooner but I'm happy from my experience coming here.

The office staff were super friendly and helpful - they were able to answer my questions - some were left for the doctor to better explain. Being able to complete testing and meeting with doctor afterwards (same day) to review results is amazing. I finally understand what my child has been suffering with for years and it took less than 2 hours to test, discuss, and make referrals to other professionals for additional evaluations to support my child's need for a 504 plan at school. I wish I had known about Carolina Attention Specialists before being referred by my child's therapist. Awesome place!

We have been more than pleased with the care that our teenage daughter has received from Dr. Thompson at Carolina Attention Specialist. The equipment and testing that Carolina Attention Specialists uses for diagnosis and treatment is far superior to other practices. Dr. Thompson takes a great deal of time discussing diagnosis and treatment options with us and our daughter. It is obvious that she cares for her patients and their families.
