Very friendly staff and the owner is also very friendly. Extremely clean and quick. The waiting room is very nice with waters and snacks and free WiFi. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for all my car needs. Very pleased with my experience here.

Roy's is nothing short of amazing. I called in requesting to come in and get service on my Jeep that very same day, and after checking they said it's no problem! They were honest and very thorough about everything they suggested they were going to do. They even spoke with my father/business partner on speaker phone and told us both everything we needed to know, and my dad was very comfortable with the entire situation. Cynthia gave me advice towards more affordable options, and Bryan even had me right under my vehicle to show me exactly what condition it was in at the time. Screw that "warranty" at my old shop, I'll be coming here for ALL of my servicing needs. Thanks so much for the peace of mind, guys!

We are new to Greensboro, and after looking at the great reviews, we visited Roy's to see if it was as clean and organized as the reviews and photos. It was, and we made an appointment with Ben, who greets you as you enter, for a GMC Acadia that had several long term problems, one that a Jamestown shop was not able to correct. We were called back promptly with an estimate by the technician that was working on the car. What a great Idea, you talk to the actual person who is working on your car, not a "service writer" like at a dealership .Brad the technician told us that several of the problems were related, and solving one would correct several of them . Brad was correct. The job cost exactly what we were quoted. The vehicle was finished at the promised time. What more could you ask for ?
I went to Roy's because it was close to my new home, but I'll be going back because they were great! I was there for an oil change. While it was on the lift they found my rear shock was leaking. They took me out to the car so I could see it. That was the first time anyone had ever showed me what was wrong with my vehicle. I don't know much about cars, so I've always felt like it would be easy for an automotive shop to take advantage of me and my wallet. Cynthia took the time to show me the issue and explain everything clearly. I feel like I can truly trust them. While I was waiting, I asked a man if he always took his car to them. He said he had been taking his cars there for 25-years and that they were the only ones he trusted. He said he usually did work on his vehicle, so his compliment said a lot. His statements reassured me that my impression was correct.
BTW this is a female owned company. Cynthia Roy the owner, is there help you and answer any questions. . This makes my wife comfortable in bringing her car in alone.
On another note... the waiting area was really nice and Cynthia offered me a drink (they have a refrigerator with drinks for customers along with a coffee maker) and told me about the free wi-fi. I appreciated that too. I plan on taking my car back to them for sure.
We just moved to the area and were in need of a mechanic. Chose Roy's due to their great reviews online. Very happy that we did. We had a brake issue, very jittery stops despite getting new brake pads put on a few months ago. I purposely left this detail out when I told them of the jittery stops. Happy to say they diagnosed the problem being the rotors and more specifically just the front ones. Didn't try to get us to purchase anything we didn't need. They made customers for life today.
