We have entrusted our dogs to Lawndale Vet for 12 years and 10 yrs ago a leopard gecko we adopted-she's 17 now & still alive per their direction to care for her. They provided excellent emergency care more than once to our older dog including IV therapy in-house mixed with home hours to lessen her anxiety. The staff behind the walls are very good with our pets and Dr Crawford was very kind when our oldest dog needed to transition to her death...very humane. Our other dog has had a few injuries chasing chipmunks including an eye ulcer which was treated and healed without incident by Dr Burnett. Our pets had care by all the Vets (Drs Jelovich & Waterman too) and we have had healthy results. We are taking in a new stray dog and have consulted and received treatment before he intermingles with our current pets. The metal artwork is fantastic too while you wait or you have reference books in each room to learn pet care.
High quality service and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth the slightly higher prices for much better service. Have been taking my pets here for 5 years. Their vets are great and know what they are doing. They are in the process of remodeling their location now.

I have been going to this practice for more than 15 years. The staff has changed periodically but the quality of care and expertise continue to be excellent. When one of the vets discovered a malignant tumor on my dog's leg the tumor was immediately removed and the dog remains healthy and happy some years later. Highly recommend this practice.
I've been bringing my cats and dogs here for years--seen nearly every vet in office. Always satisfied with having needs of pets met by attentive veterinarians and assistants; techs available for quick nail trims without appointments, too. New renovation with new exam rooms looks awesome! Convenience of location a big plus for me.
