Had a wonderful holiday event viewing It's a Wonderful Life. Film and sound quility was great. Seats were comfortable and theater temperature was comfortable. And you just can't beat the beautiful vintage interior of the Carolina
Beautiful theatre in downtown Greensboro. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The plays may not be Broadway productions but they are fantastic in their own right. The seats are comfy, the snacks are fresh and there is a good variety to chose from. All in all the experience is worth the drive. Parking is close ( some right in front ) and cheap. There is also a variety of restaurants within close walking distance that will satisfy every tastebud.
1925 era theatre still a vibrant participant in the Arts. Comfortable venue for concerts and live shows, also has a classic movie series. Relaxed atmosphere with a snack bar providing beer and wine plus light snacks at affordable prices. A local gem and actual treasure in this era of “what’s new”and latest and greatest one hit wonders.
A nice theatre in the heart of downtown Greensboro. There is plenty of free parking around on the weekends too. They do have a parking lot on the side of the theatre, but it is small and fills up quickly. Street parking is free after 6PM on weekdays and free all day on weekends and public holidays. A nice cultural resource in downtown Greensboro.
First time at this theater and it was great. Saw "It's a Wonderful Life" and it was the most wholesome experience I've had in a long time.
