This store is the best pet shop in town. Extremely knowledgeable staff as well. it seems like the previous comments are concerned about where the dogs come from. I tracked three dogs pedigree charts to a AKC (American kennel club) registered breeder in Kansas City. After much research, i found this breeder very satisfactory. Some of the dogs have been featured in dog shows and even national television. i repeated this process three times all with same result. Im sure whomever said they come from puppy mills did not even do any research. Please only write reviews if you are not angry. It SHOWS!
Costumer service is horrible. Workers act like they are above the customers and are rude in some way almost every time I have been there. Need to take classes on good customer service. Are everything but friendly.
I feel bad for the animals here. I can't afford the poor overpriced things but I try to go in once in a while to give them attention. Definitely puppy mill puppies. It's a double edged sword. People say more
not to buy these puppies because they come from mills and not to support the mills. While I understand that it's not the poor puppies fault they want love just as much as a shelter dog. Terrible situation. I play with the birds often. Most are friendly. There is one worker there. Has lots of tattoos and the animals seem to love him. I hear about a lot of the workers being terrible but he seems okay.
I feel terrible for these animals. The puppies are put in a tiny box on display all day. I asked if they ever get to go on a walk or outside in an enclosed area and their response was "no because we consider the health of puppy and don't want to expose it to something." If they cared about the puppies and not the money the puppies brought they would take into consideration that puppies not only need outside interaction but also need space to grow and develop physically. Two huskies, a golden retriever, and and English bulldog are not happy or able to develop normal in a tiny box all together. They also do not regulate how the puppies play together, multiples "boxes" had multiple breeds in them and I witnessed them getting ganged up on. I really question the morals of this company and do not know how anyone can work there and feel good about what they do to these animals. A puppy mill in store form. I am disgusted that the friendly center would allow this. It makes the whole center look bad.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars in here within the last two years and recently I bought 3 angle fishes for about 130, after having them for about 15 hours one died. I called up there to let them know what had happened, furthermore the following day I went into the store to try swap out that one fish with Thomas (fish associate) who was very knowledgeable & helpful. He said he’d have to charge me 20 more dollars to swap them out which I think I shouldn’t of had to pay but I was ok with it, as we were checking out the guy who owned this place cussed his associate Thomas out right in front of everyone at the counter then told him go home for trying to take care of me. It was very unprofessional so I had a conversation with the owner which resulted in me leaving very unhappy he said there is no return policy at all. So I wish the best for Thomas great guy but thanks to the owner I will not spend another dollar in there.
