Showed up to access my storage and nobody was at the facility. Sat for an hour and nothing. If I could give a negative star I would.

We recently moved locally and decided to use 1-800-pack-rat in addition to using a U-Haul. We lined up 2 of their containers for moving. The gentleman who brought the first container was wonderful. As the other reviewer has stated, his name is Charles. He was very kind and did an excellent job. However, the employee who brought the second container was quite rude and lazy. When asked if he could turn the container around for ease of access, we were told in a nasty tone, that it would cost us $35 more. Also something to keep in mind is that there is a weight limit to how much these containers can hold. When the second container was ready to be picked up, Charles came and could not pick it up for transport. When we called to schedule the containers, we were never told about a weight limit and could not find it anywhere on the companies website. We had to empty some of the contents into a U-Haul doubling our work. Charles was extremely apologetic and came a few days later on his day off to transport it to our new house. Charles is a shining star in this company and needs to be rewarded for his excellent customer service. He is the only reason why I'm giving this company 2 stars. Thank you Charles for all your hard work.
After looking around for pricing on containers to move our stuff we finally came across pack rat. I was extremely excited to see their low price compared to everyone else but then I became worried that the experience would be terrible with them because you pay for what you get. Well I couldn't have been more wrong. They were extremely helpful and made the process very smooth. They were on time with the unit and that means a lot to me. I recommend them to everyone I know who is moving.
Poor communication on their part, which was a lot of added stress on top of our cross country move. I wish we had gone elsewhere, but at this point we are just looking forward to receiving our things. I suppose you get what you pay for!
