Nice Marriott Brand hotel in a great safe location for access to restaurants and food. I have stayed at this location many times and have never had an issue.
I love Marriott, but this particular hotel had one person on duty. My Mom used the toilet and stopped up. I called to have someone come and fix it. The lady on duty stated that she is the only working today, no maintenance staff was on duty. I asked if she could switch my room. She stated that they are completely booked and I can come downstairs to get a plunger. I understand things happen but how can you be completely booked and only have one person on staff? She was a ops manager by the way. Her AGM or GM should have been here with her if they couldn't get anyway else to come in.
CLEAN.
We have noticed a burning smell everyday for about 5 minutes. Smells like a furnace but we are using AC.
Management was friendly and apologetic.....
EXCELLENT breakfast.
Kinda small rooms. Beds offset from TV which faces the desk side if the room.
Great, clean room. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Not much else you could ask for for a one night stay. Would stay again.
UPDATE: THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AT 2:30AM!!!!
Beer and wine available as well as microwave single serve entrees for purchase.
Check in was quick and the room was clean. Thermostat on wall controlling window unit. Mini fridge was working. Pool was clean and open. Gym open but I didn't make it to it. Breakfast was typical, some hot foods such as eggs, bacon, and oatmeal with several dry cereals and a few pieces of fruit. Server was courteous. Breakfast ends a little early around 9. Not sure of star rating but feels like a good 3 of 5.
