The only issue I had with this Motel 6 was the cleaniness of the room. Found a dirty wash rag in the bathroom and the bathroom needed a little extra attention. The bed sheets where stained. Had to go to the local Wal-Mart and buy a set. I request a smoke free room and didn't get one.
MOTEL 6@2838 S. EUGENE STREET IN GREENSBORO, NC WAS OVERALL GREAT. THE STAFF GETS 5 (STARS), FRONT DESK CLERK , HE WAS EXCELLENT & HE SUGGESTED PLACES TO EAT+HANG OUT SPOTS. THE HANDYMAN WAS EXCELLENT ALSO, THE ICE MACHINE WASN'T WORKING PROPERTLY-HE WENT& RESET THE ICE MACHINE HOWEVER THE PROBLEM WASN'T FIX ENTIRELY BUT I APPRECIATE THE THOUGHT! GREAT PLACE TO STAY& OVERALL- I GIVE THE MOTEL AN 3 OUT OF FIVE STARS.
This motel definitely meets the criteria as a by the hour dive. I arrived at 1:15 a.m. and was met by a hooker before I could get out of my car, and then by a second one appeared from one of the hotel rooms. people were looking out of there rooms I presume to see if I was a police officer. Then I got in my room! This room was absolutely filthy, I have never been in such a dirty hotel room in my life. The floors were so dirty I refused to take my shoes off!! Something had been spilled and was not mopped up, and my shoes stuck to the floor. I had to put a towel on the desk to protect my suitcase from the sticky substances on the furniture. The walls were dirty and in horrible repair. The towels and the sheets were probably the only clean things I found in this room and I did not find any bed bugs when I searched the bed. I'm not afraid of much in this world but I did feel that my safety was in question on this property and I guarantee that had my wife been along on this trip we definitely would have found another place to stay. If this is an example of what Motel 6 has become, I will be sure to pass you by in the future.
Manager call me and he was rude and no respectful. I own a company and I always stay in motel 6 all over the country. He came to the room with out announcing and bring the exterminator to the room. We work at night and he didn’t make a effort to see if anyone was in the room. He told that I can not stay in his hotel room because and remind he that before trying to take people out of rooms he should check with people that extended their stay. Very disappointed of service for people that use your accommodation and spent a lot of money a year.
It's a convenient location right off of the highway a little bit hidden behind other businesses down an industrial way, but besides that that's where the Comfort ends. I got a hotel room using their service from my Google search and all they had to offer was a smoking room which I understand is acceptable on short notice but the state of the room was not. The bed was covered in blood all over the box spring which was concerning considering I was staying in the room with two family members and two small children under the age of 5. There were dead bugs drowned and stuck around the sink, lack of towels and amenities such as there was no microwave or mini fridge just a TV on a stand that looked rather rickety. No shampoo no conditioner just a small bar of soap, which wasn't enough considering there was black mold inside of the shower curtain. This was a desperation stopped and I would not recommend this Motel, not a great way to use $60, I would have rather slept in my car and spent $60 on blankets and pillows I could have owned from a local Walmart. Horrible. If I thought I were capable of getting a refund I would have asked for one. Also there is no local place to purchase food.
