Not bad. I booked here because the Sheraton was booked (I attended a conference at the Sheraton).
6. Plenty of eating options close by- Outback, Darryl's, Bonefish, Carraba's, plus numerous fast food joints.
The room however is what you pay for and is aqueduct in quality for what you pay.
If I could provide a negative rating I would.
4. The bed was comfortable.
First off they assigned a room to me originally that was trashed! Then moved me to another room, which the TV was broken. I was promised a discount on the room but was later denied of this discount. The hotel has a terrible staff and very poor at communicating. This is a customer service business and they fail in that respect awfully.
1. Strong odor of cigarettes outside of room.
The room was really nice. Had a slightly odd smell that seemed to be masked by air freshener. The floor was also slightly damp upon arrival. The bed was very comfy and overall cleanliness seemed good. Nice decor and furniture. Very close proximity to the Colosseum. Nice little pool, 5ft deep max, but very clean.

4. In addition to the cigarettes, someone was smoking weed one night.
3. During the evenings, a strong odor of cigarettes drifted into the room, however, I did not smell it every night, and it was absent in the mornings.
All in all, I cannot complain too much. Not perfect, but it was less than half of the costs of the Sheraton.
Clean rooms with a modern design. King bed was comfortable. My door had a bit of a draft and the air conditioning was a little difficult to get set just right to sleep. Manager was also extremely helpful with a payment issue I had.

Overall it was a terrible stay and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Front desk person (Joseph) was awesome! Rooms are clean and smelled great. Location is great, and it's very quite even near a super busy road.
