We are waiting on a part for our washer at home to be repaired so the laundromat is now on my To Do list on the weekends until its fixed. When I do have to go to the Laundromat I usually go to Happy Laundromat on Lawndale simply because its closet to the house. This morning at 8:00 it was packed and because its not really a large facility I just was not in the mood to deal with it. I mean the laundromat is a chore in itself without dealing with all the crowds. I Googled other laundromat in the area & read about this one. The reviews seemed decent enough & it appeared 9:00 was a fairly reasonable time to go to beat the crowds. First, there was literally nobody there when I arrived - I had the place all to myself. But honestly even if there had been a crowd this place is so huge it wouldn't have mattered. Also there's no change machines to deal with - you purchase a reloadable card and swipe it on the machines. I believe the prices may have even been a bit more affordable than Happy. If our washer goes out again I will likely consider Laundry Depot for my needs even if the drive is just a bit further from the house.
Some machines are down, but it's only a few and it looks like they have maintenance orders on them. There are a ton of washers and dryers, so it wasn't an inconvenience. It's very clean and the washers and dryers are new and efficient. The place is staffed and the women who works there is constantly cleaning and making sure that customers are helped. I was surprised to see online that their hours are only Saturday and Sunday. I know that I've went on other days recently and I'm hoping this is a mistake and not a recent change. I also love that they use a card so you don't have to worry about quarters. Best place to do laundry in Greensboro!!!!
First time here. Guy is nice.helped me with the payment card. Love that they use a card instead of quarters! Air conditioned too :). Its my new fav
I am very pleased with this fasility. I usually go at night, but it has never been busy to where i couldnt find a seat with my husband. Food & drinks are allowed inside; you can ask for the bathroom, but it is gross. You are better off using the depot's bathroom(the main buidings bathroom).
Lots of machines, clean, reasonably priced. Manager friendly and very helpful. Only downside is I drove by it going east but quite visible from Market Street if you're heading west. I highly recommend it, especially since most of the convention hotels don't have guest laundry facilities.
