The food was good and I liked it. The shrimp and grits is great. I just won't do business with a place charging fine dining prices in a cafe location. I did give credit where it was due for the good food.
5 star service, every time! You’ll generally have to wait a little to get a table because the place is so small but the food is delicious and worth the wait. Most portions are on the smaller side and prices may feel a little on the higher side but that’s because the food quality is top-notch.
I liked the food and atmosphere but I'm sorry this restaurant is overpriced by at least 20%. A chef spoon of chicken salad, 3, 1/4 slices of half a cantaloupe and 1/4 inch slice of pineapple under one lettuce leaf. 1 Heaping Tbsp of Farmers cheese. Oh, don't forget the crackers three packets of crackers $9.50. This was my first visit to this restaurant probably my last because of the prices.
Ordered the mushroom melt sans bacon with a side of Brussels hash sans the bacon with fried green tomatoes to start.Loved it. Flavor notes were phenomenal! I love the quality of the food. Will be back!
Upscale comfort food with a twist, very popular for lunch or dinner, quite small seating area so it gets very busy at times. We love to stop in for appetizers and drinks. They don't serve skimpy drinks so plan your consumption accordingly! Prices a little high but you aren't paying for run of the mill food here.
Best grit bowl. Best eggs Benedict. It's seriously so hard for me to choose because I love everything they serve for brunch. Usually very busy on the weekends for brunch but it's worth the wait. Don't go there with a large group of people.
