The woman at the entrance couldn't look away from her phone long enough to even answer my query. Agency was used to harass me after I turned IRS whistle-blower; all because a relative of boss works for agency. Absolute clowns.

In my opinion, if you're a woman in a Domestic Violence situation, don't expect any help from the GCSO until your abuser beats you senseless or kills you. They treat it as a Domestic Disturbance no matter what you tell them. The good old boys club believes every lie your Jekyll & Hyde abuser tells them. The deputies will not contact their Domestic Violence Unit (DVU) on your behalf, or recommend any DV resources to you. I called the DVU directly, and the guy I spoke with offered me no help or resources, since the abuse hadn't escalated to beatings, yet. (though I've lost count of the death threats) He acted as if I was just another annoying phone call, interrupting his day. In my case, my abuser has a buddy at the sheriff dept, and when I contacted him, he sold me out to my abuser. No wonder Guilford County continues to rank #1-3 in NC for Domestic Violence murders and suicides.
