Final note, if you feel your case is strong enough to go to trial, be certain of it and do not let anyone talk you out of your decision to go to trial. If you prefer not to wait or you recognize in the long run it will be more taxing to drag out the case, settle it. Matt Wilcut and Hollie WIllard was from our first meeting very respectful and very honest about the process. They set appropriate expectations and then exceeded them. I have been fighting the VA for proper rating since the 1990's making no real progress. Don’t be distracted by the 25%. While the law states that law firms can receive UP TO 25%, about 99% of the law firms you encounter will require the full 25% unless there are extenuating circumstances and they may be willing to lower it, but not likely for ANY law firm you go to. The reason I say this is because you get what you pay for.

First, I will say this. I have seen a few reviews previously complaining about having to do leg work. I want to enlighten anyone reading these reviews on someting, the reality is with situations like this, there is a personal responsibility involved. The truth is, lawyers are not private investigators. They are paid to interpret the law to you and speak the language of the law on your behalf. Lawyers are educated and well acquainted with the legalities of whichever area of focus they specialize in. That being said, they are not technically required to do what you should be doing, which is working to strengthen your case and avoiding decisions and actions that can negatively affect your case.
