My experience was awful. First off, the owner kicked me out of the shop saying that it was too late in the day when she was the one who told me that I could come in at 5:30 p.m. I was 14 minutes late but it was a good thing that I was late because she was still doing someone else's hair. Then, she tells me it's too late and doesn't even give me a chance to talk before she takes off my smock. She was also upset that I asked to not put so much hair on the braid where my edges are because I did not want to put strain on my edges. If you're trying to keep your edges, DO NOT GO HERE. If you want to be disrespected, have no edges or treated with disgust PLEASE BE MY GUEST.
I got my hair done here and it was terrible. My scalp was particularly itchy and I didn't know why. It turns out this shop uses a particular brand of hair that causes a nasty rash! My rash broke out around my edges, in the middle of my head and a little on my forehead. It took a very long time for it to go away. My scalp would regularly bleed and the irritation took a lot of money in products to clear. Ladies, I'm asking you all to boycott this business because of their lack of professionalism. When I told the shop what happened, she said that it was my fault and asked me to leave.
I went at 5pm and was out by 10:30pm! I will definitely come back for my next style and will bring my daughters to get their hair braided. I got kinky twist for $180. Great experience and great work!

My edges are all gone! After 1 week of faux locs I was forced to take them out because it was a burning and itching that I could not take anymore. Well, when I took the faux locs out my edges with it. What makes it worse is that when I was getting my hair done, I tried to tell them to be easy on my edges. She told me "You have to let us do your hair." Well, I did! And now I have bald spots where there used to be hair. I see the other reviews and I believe these women. When I walked in, the owner was in an argument with another person. I should've known it was a bad sign. Ladies, please stay away from Sarah's little shop. It's obvious she has no respect for customers or their hair.
