The improvements are just going to make it that much better.
Friendly staff, great rates. Very easy in and out from interstate. Some spaces are tight, some outside traffic noise. But overall, great place for a stopover.
The campground is adjacent to the interstate and you constantly have the road noise. I've spent the night in rest areas that were further away from the interstate than this campground.
New owners who are working very hard on improving the park. Not the fanciest and it is located next to the interstate so a bit noisy but I knew this before hand. I picked this park for its convenience to the convention area and it worked out very well. Easy access to everything.
The camp hosts made this a "best" KOA experience. It would be nice if the sites were more level. The packed gravel made easy wheelchair access. Good laundry. Very clean campground and facilities!
The staff was very friendly when I checked in, but I really disliked them asking me to give them 5 stars during check in before we had even pulled into our site.
This is not worth anywhere near what they charge. They are working on the place which is good, but not good enough. The site they gave us wasn't level and had the bottom step of our coach 2 feet off the ground.
We live in town and are very happy to have this KOA here. It was formerly known as the Greensboro Campground and wasn't kept very well, but since this new owner purchase and made it a KOA, we have watched it grow and all the improvements he has made and continues to do! Its a great place if you are traveling as it is convenient to I 85. He has many plans for this campground and we can't wait to see what he does next! We enjoy our occasional weekend visits while we are at home in Greensboro. Our little get away at home. Thanks for being here and keep it up!
