Aquarium and new underwater center are wonderous. Touch a stingray in the touch tank. Watch the jellyfish, they are hypnotic! Check out the Foucault Pendulum. Outdoor animals include tiger, anteater, maned wolf, and many more! The African Penguins and the informative zookeeper talks and twice daily feedings make this a great stop in Greensboro for visitors and a gem for residents.

Watched this place grow from about the time my daughter was 7 until now when her daughter is 7 (30+ years). It was wonderful back then though much smaller. And it is even more wonderful now. Kudos to all the businesses, agencies, foundations and many individual citizens who continue to support this fun and educational place!

I took my 2 year old here and he loved walking around and seeing everything. His favorite part was the farm animals and aquarium. We went on a rainy day but found ourselves there for 2 hours. The new dinosaur exhibit was another fun place. We went early in the morning and found ourselves caught in a few school crowds which became overwhelming but that's to be expected.

Really cool place. As you walk through different areas you start to realize how big the place actually is and how much their is to see and do. We were able to catch the diver who talked to the kids from inside the tank which, for a 31 year old man, was pretty cool....they even let me ask him a question lol. It seems the kids play area has been re-done from when we came last time and it is was fantastic. Price rectifies itself for the fun factor you will have with your kids. I had as much or more fun then my 5 and 7 year old did. You will not be disappointed!!

Visiting the area from Raleigh and decided to check it out. Loved it. Will be back if ever in Greensboro again. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed talking to them about the animals. The exhibits were the right size for the animals, no boredom pacing like I see in other zoos. It was very cute to see the chickens, guinea hens, and a peacock roaming free.
