Piedmont Triad International Airport is one of the best airports in N.C. There anyone will find ample parking very close to departures and arrivals. Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Frontier and Delta have the best customer service for quick check-in and the airport is beautiful. I am amazed why people choose to drive to Charlotte or Raleigh for a flight to save $40.00 to $50.00. The truth is "It's worth flying from PTI whether your a daily commuter or going on vacation".
I love flying in and out of this airport! Everything about it is so fast and easy. You show up an hour before your flight and not have to sit long at all. They have a few good places to shop, eat or get starbucks. Longterm parking isn’t a far walk if you need to leave a car. Overall, this is my favorite airport to fly in and out of when I can.
After being in several airports over a couple of days, PTI felt like a breath of fresh air. The crowds are small and the facilities are clean. The staff is helpful and the security lines usually move very quickly. Many people don't fly from here because it can be more expensive than Charlotte or Raleigh, but it definitely seems worth the extra cost.
One of the few relaxing airports I've ever experienced. Friendly staff, clean, spacious. Pick up, drop off, and parking are all easy. Only a few basic food options - Starbucks, a diner, etc.
Great airport. Security lines move quick never a wait. Highly recommend.
